Writer Wednesday: Week Sixty

Hey, everyone! I hope everyone is well. Here it is, the final post . . . for now, anyway. This fact is sad, but also, it's one less thing for me to stress over, and maybe I can start writing more. Not that I'm blaming these posts for not writing more often but an overabundance of stress, which I'm trying to reduce little by little here and there. These posts just happen to be a casualty while trying to achieve this goal.

So, here we go! The feature author this week, the one that will be wrapping up this blog series, is R D Trimble. R D also writes under the penname Steve McGovern. He's an awesome supporter of authors by doing live-reads on his Facebook profile and even has a Youtube channel where he posts reads. R D Trimble just recently got signed with CHBB Publishing with his soon-to-be-released novel Viktor, which I can't wait to read. You can find R D Trimble and his works below at the following links.

I hope everyone's found at least one book (I hope more) from this series. I hope you've tried a new author you've never heard of before, and I hope you enjoyed their work. Please, I say it every time, support indie authors by leaving them reviews for their work. I say this not to boost their ego; this is to help readers find and try new-to-them-authors. And whatever you do, don't support pirate sites. These sites steal from authors big and small. So make sure you're purchasing and downloading ebooks legitimately, even if it is just picking up a free copy from Amazon, whether it be a promo or permanent freebie. Thank you so much for joining me on this ride. Feel free to go through past posts to find more indie and small press authors; we appreciate all the support we can get. 💖

Writer Wednesday: Week Fifty-eight

Hey, everybody! Wednesdays have been sneaking up on me lately. Maybe because the nephew's constantly here, maybe because my guy got his schedule switched and now has Wednesdays and Thursdays days off (you'd think that would make it easier to remember when Wednesday is, but really it just makes me think Wednesday is Saturday and Friday is Monday, and it's all weird), or maybe it's just a combination both of those and every other single thing going on. Is anyone else as mixed up as I am?

Who's ready for Week Fifty-eight? Here we go! This week's featured author for Writer Wednesday is Sean Kerr. I was introduced to Sean's work through Angelique Jurd's Facebook group Cocktails and Denim about a year or so ago. Angelique recommended Sean's book Alive to me. I was pretty hooked. It has similar aspects with my own writing—Dark Fantasy (his is more of a Gothic style though), sexy, graphic, and dark. What's different is it's M/M, which I love. Give me some guy on guy action any day. 😉🤤 Anyhoo, down to business. You can find Sean and his fantastic works at the following links below.

Writer Wednesday: Week Fifty-seven

Welcome to Week Fifty-seven of Writer Wednesday. I've been having issues with my WiFi, so this is going up late.

This week's featured author is another that I've recently met in my new Facebook group (Supporting Indies, Reaching Readers). He was also conveniently featured on S.L. Baron's Author Interview blog series, so links were easy for me to grab, considering my internet's been crap. Anyway, Week Fifty-seven's featured author is Jay Veloso Batista. Writer Wednesday: Week Fifty-three

Hey, everyone! How are we doing this week? I'm still trying to get used to this little, itty, bitty keyboard on this small convertible laptop. But I'm getting stuff done. Though it keeps yelling at me about low storage, but it doesn't seem to want to use the 128GB mini sd card I put in it for storage. I guess it's beyond my technological understanding. I'll figure it out sometime or another, I'm sure.

Onward to this week's featured author. Week Fifty-three of Writer Wednesday features another author I met on Writer On: Kate McGinn. Kate's an awesome writer and a fantastic person. She writes Romance and Romantic Suspense, and she also donated a story to One Million Project: Fiction anthology. You can find out more about Kate and her works at the following links below.

Writer Wednesday: Week Fifty

Hey, everyone! Who missed me? No one? Eh, that's okay. Anyway, long time, no posts. I could make excuses . . . I mean, at first I had a legitimate reason. After a week of no posts, it got easy just to 'forget' to post. Let see, I had my appendix removed (y'all knew that), recovery time, I was tired for the entire week following that. Well, when I got to the point that I knew I should get back to posting, I ended up with an infected tooth, and that kind of knocked me on my ass harder than the surgery did. Like pain to the point I was in tears; I'm still on antibiotics and 800mg Ibuprofen for it. Looking for a dentist that might be open to remove some teeth—not sure with what money, I haven't sold a book in months and I've not gotten much proofreading work. I had a formatting job, but that was one, and formatting doesn't pay close to proofreading. This writing and writing world gig isn't turning out to be any kinds of profitable. Oh well. But we're not here for me and my whining. We're here for the much-delayed Writer Wednesday post that I've put off far too long.

So, the featured author for Writer Wednesday: Week Fifty is Fantasy author K.V. Wilson. Her books are awesome, and I actually finished reading Guardian while sitting in the hospital pre and post-surgery. K.V. is definitely an author that deserves support, so go buy her books. I'm looking forward to diving into Incarnate just as soon as I can. You can find K.V. Wilson and her works at the following links below:

Thanks for coming back to join me this week. Sorry, I whined a bit at the beginning, but please do check out K.V.'s work. I hope to see you all again next week. Remember, support indie authors by purchasing their work legitimately and leaving them reviews anywhere you can—Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub . . . Even telling your Facebook and other social media people about their works in posts is awesome too. Indie authors need readers' help to find new readers. ♥

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-nine

For those of you unaware, I'm running behind schedule on this week's Writer Wednesday post. Busy week. Lots of stuff going on, but it's not like I'm out and about. Not that I ever really was, because I'm pretty much a shut-in. I've trained years for what people are currently doing—self-isolation. Other than that, I hope everyone is okay.

So, this week is Week Forty-nine of Writer Wednesday. And yet again, it isn't a single author being featured but an entire group, some of which have been individually featured in this series in the past. So, the feature for this week is the group WPaD or what is also known as Writers, Poets, and Deviants. I love this group. They've put out multiple anthologies, and they have a new one coming out in a couple of months. I have a couple of stories in the newer releases from the past couple of years. Partial profits from the sales of these anthologies go toward MS research. So, you get great stories and get to help out a great cause all at the same time, who wouldn't love that. What are you waiting for? Get to clicking on the links to find out more about WPaD, its authors, and its anthology.

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-eight

Hey, everyone! How have y'all been this week? I was going through looking for links for this week's author, and I found something interesting. They too had been sharing authors and their works for a time on a site called dreamwidth. I'm not familiar with the site, but I'm slightly disappointed with myself for not knowing they were sharing, especially when I saw they were kind enough to share my work. So, let's get to this wonderful person.

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-eight's featured author is Akje Majdanek. I haven't had the chance to read Akje's work, yet, but I do have a couple of her books on my Kindle app and, therefore, on my TBR list. I should bump them up the list. So, here we go. Below are the links where you can find Akje and her works.

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-six

Welcome to Week Forty-six of Writer Wednesday. I'm better this week, not so . . . flustered. How's everyone this week? Good? Bad? Read any good books lately? I have about ten or so of these posts left before I decide to discontinue them or not. I'm planning on starting up a Monday blog series though—an alternating of 'Mention Monday' posts where I say what I'm reading, a description, and maybe/probably give link(s) to the book, and 'Word of Mouth Monday' posts where reviews will be posted for books (this isn't going to start out as a review request blog series, but I won't say it won't evolve to that, though, eventually, maybe). 'Word of Mouth Monday' will feature more than just my crappy reviews, there will be reviews from Paul Skelton using his review name 'Grumpy Old Git', and hopefully, I'll have some other guest reviewers. I'm not saying these are going to be awesome reviews—trust me, mine are gonna suck because I'm terrible at reviews, but I'll do them none-the-less, because reviews matter and it doesn't matter if you go on Amazon and say, 'This book was amazing,' or if you write up a 2000-word book report type review on a blog (okay, probably won't see anything that in-depth here, but who knows).

Okay, but we should get to the reason why we're here. Our featured author for Week Forty-six is L. Fergus. L. Fergus writes Lesbian Action Adventure. I haven't had the chance to read much of L. Fergus' work. I always mean to because it sounds seriously interesting. One day, though, definitely. Below you can find links to find out more about L. Fergus and their works.

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-four

Hello, everyone! How are you doing? Who's excited about Valentine's Day? (note: not me, I don't really celebrate holidays anymore, and I never really celebrated this one) Is everyone ready for Week Forty-four of Writer Wednesday? Keep reading to find out who it is!

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-four's featured author is T.E. Bradford. She is a 'clean' Fantasci (a term she coined for Fantasy/Sci-fi) writer and a hybrid published author, meaning she's published through a publisher and self-published. Her Divide series—what I've read of it—is fantastic. She also has many short stories I've really enjoyed. I met her on Write On where I first started reading a futuristic, technological story she was working on, which hooked me—kind of weird for me 'cause I'm not really one for Sci-fi books. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was called, but I don't think she ever finished it. I'd hoped she would, but her other stuff is great, so go check it out. You can find T.E. I have twelve (I believe) more authors left before I have to hunt down more if I don't get any requests in for authors to cover. I'm sure I have several more on my Facebook friends list. I may grab some from Twitter. Suppose I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty-one

Well, I completely didn't realize it was Wednesday. Where'd the week go? And why don't I remember to set these up in advance every week? LOL! Anyway, I'm going to do this quick-like. Maybe make a big faux pas in the process, but here we go.

This week's featured author is, well, me . . . Soleil Daniels. Next week we'll go back to our regularly scheduled program, but this week, well, I'm feeling greedy or left out or something. And I've run out of time and my computer's being a big pain in the butt (it must need to update or something). So, if you haven't checked out my work, you can find it at the following links.

Writer Wednesday: Week Forty

Hello and welcome to Week Forty of Writer Wednesday! How's everyone? Good? Good. So, we've reached forty. I've got twelve authors left in my current list, so I'll need to go hunt some more down. Also, I'm officially open for suggestions on who to feature. Just leave a comment saying who, what they write, and at least one of their books or the name of their blog. Anything I can use to hunt down their links.

This week's featured author is Marla Todd (aka Juliette Kings). She has a fangtastic blog filled with short stories, random question polls (they're so fun), and a Vlad Diary. Dude, how awesome does that even just sound? Diary posts from Vampire Vlad! Seriously, go now and check out the blog! The link's below—the Vampire Maman. Go on, give it a click. Also, don't forget to check out the books filled with short stories, one of which is entirely Juliette Kings' stories and the rest are charity anthologies from WPaD that feature stories from Marla Todd/Juliette Kings.

Writer Wednesday: Week Thirty-eight

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope everyone's Holiday season was all they wanted and more. I've spent most of the past week and a half fishing with my other half, as he had both the week of Christmas and New Year's off—paid, at that. I don't usually get out much, so it's been nice, but it also caused me to forget to post Writer Wednesday last week. Sorry about that.

So, Week Thirty-eight of Writer Wednesday falls on the first day of the new year. The featured author that gets to ring in New Year is Roxanne Smolen. I'm ashamed to say, I haven't had the chance to read any of Roxanne's work, but I do plan to. If you're interested in her and her works, follow the links provided below.

Check out Roxanne's and R.A.P. Smolen's other books. These are only a few I have listed, and there are several more.

Thanks for joining me for Writer Wednesday: Week Thirty-eight. Hopefully, we won't have any more breaks for a while, so I should see you again next week with a new author. Remember to support indie authors and, please, leave reviews for their works. Reviews may not seem important, but they're extremely important to the success of the author. Hope everyone's year is off to a great start.
